Le corps diplomatique formé à l'authentification des actes numériques
The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights has taken another step in the digital transition of the Ivorian administration. On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, a strategic information session was held at the auditorium of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Plateau, dedicated to the e-justice platform.
The objective of this meeting was clear: to equip diplomats and representatives of international organizations with the skills to recognize and authenticate digital legal documents. As essential intermediaries for recruitment, family reunification, and visas, embassies must now integrate these new digital formats into their protocols.
“The chancelleries are key players. It is crucial that they take ownership of these advances to ensure the smooth running of consular and civil procedures,” said Bernard Kouassi , Chief of Staff to the Minister of Justice.
The e-justice platform does more than just digitize processes; it also secures them. Here are the key points of this modernization:
Launched in January 2025, the platform is already operational in 28 of the country's 39 jurisdictions . This reform is part of the Ivorian government's overall vision for a more responsive administration.
For Yéo Nahoua , chief of staff to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, this initiative is tangible proof of a desire to make justice "more accessible, more transparent and more secure" for citizens as well as for Ivory Coast's economic and financial partners.
