Abidjan rend hommage à Habiba Dembelé, icône des médias ivoiriens
The District of Abidjan honored Ms. Habiba Dembelé , an emblematic figure in audiovisual media, by naming a street after her in the commune of Adjamé , in the Williamsville district.
A seasoned journalist at the Ivorian Radio and Television Broadcasting (RTI) and a member of the High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA) , Ms. Dembelé is thus recognized for her remarkable career and her contribution to the development of media in Ivory Coast.
A commemorative plaque bearing her name was unveiled on the fence of the EPP Jean Porquet primary school , located behind the Grand Mosque of Williamsville. This initiative aims to immortalize the legacy of this great lady of broadcasting and to inspire future generations.
