L’IA au cœur de la 3e Semaine Nationale de la Presse en mars prochain
The 3rd edition of the National Press Week (SNP) kicked off this Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the Maison de la Presse in Abidjan. Organized by the National Press Authority (ANP), the event will run from March 23 to 27, 2026 .
This year, the discussion will focus on a hot topic: "Media and artificial intelligence (AI): between ethics and innovation" .
Key points of this edition:
- Media education: The main objective is to train pupils and students to decipher information in the face of the risks of manipulation on social networks.
- Institutional support: Representing Minister Amadou Coulibaly, Agnès Kraidy recalled that this initiative is in line with the Head of State's vision for a responsible press, guaranteeing social cohesion.
- Ethical issues: For Samba Koné, president of the ANP, mastering information is now an "essential civic skill" in the digital and AI era.
