The operator officially launched a unique scholarship program this Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Marcory, designed to professionalize and enhance the credibility of the media and content creation sector.

Placed under the patronage of Amadou Coulibaly , Minister of Communication and government spokesperson, this initiative aims to transform the Ivorian information ecosystem to better meet current technological challenges.

A 12-week immersion in South Africa

The objective is clear: to train a new generation of professionals capable of conveying a positive and authentic image of Africa. Specifically, the program offers the following each year:

1. 5 prestigious scholarships.
2. An intensive 12-week training course located in South Africa.
3. Strategic support to master new digital tools.

“Supporting the media is investing in the future of our societies. We want to offer concrete opportunities to those who are shaping the news of tomorrow,” said Mitwa Ng’ambi , Managing Director of MTN Côte d’Ivoire.

The program is aimed at experienced professionals looking to take their careers to the next level. The selection criteria are as follows:
