CEDEAO et Union africaine saluent le bon déroulement du scrutin en Côte d’Ivoire
ECOWAS and the African Union published their preliminary conclusions on the first round of the presidential election in Côte d'Ivoire on October 27, 2025.
The joint observation mission noted that polling stations opened properly, despite delays in nearly a third of them, linked to logistical problems and the absence of certain electoral agents.
It recommends improving the distribution of materials, staff training, and accessibility for people with disabilities. While welcoming the overall smooth running of the election, ECOWAS calls on candidates and citizens to exercise restraint and respect the electoral process while awaiting the official results.
