Côte d’Ivoire : le PPA-CI rend hommage à ses militants décédés à Yamoussoukro suite à la décision du procureur
On Saturday, November 8, 2025, the families of two PPA-CI activists, Konan Kouakou Paul and N'Guessan Kouassi Constant, held their funerals in Yamoussoukro. The two young men had lost their lives during demonstrations in the city, sparking deep emotion within the party and among the public.
To support the families and honor the memory of the deceased, a delegation from the PPA-CI, led by Executive President Sébastien Dano Djédjé, visited the village of Kami, the burial site. Despite the temporary suspension of the funeral ordered by the prosecutor to allow for an investigation, the party maintained its symbolic visit to offer moral support to the families of the activists.
The ceremony also brought together representatives of the Ivorian Popular Front (FPI), led by Affi N'Guessan, illustrating a moment of solidarity among opposition political parties. This initiative underscores the PPA-CI's commitment to its members and the importance it places on respecting and supporting bereaved families.
