Côte d'Ivoire: Macron félicite Ouattara, appelle à poursuivre "l'approfondissement" bilatéral
French President Emmanuel Macron on Tuesday congratulated his Ivorian counterpart Alassane Ouattara on his re-election and called for continued "deepening" of the partnership between the two countries.
"The President of the Republic called the President of Ivory Coast, Alassane Ouattara, to congratulate him on his re-election following the proclamation of the results of the October 25 election by the Constitutional Council," the Elysée Palace indicated.
"He stated that he wanted to continue working alongside her to deepen and renew the already very close partnership between the two countries, as well as to continue the dialogue on international issues," the French presidency added.
