FPPN : Les dirigeants maintenus jusqu'en 2028 pour consolider les réformes

Meeting in a joint general assembly this Friday, April 17, 2026 in Abidjan, the base of the National Police Provident Fund (FPPN) decided: the mandate of the governing bodies is exceptionally extended until August 31, 2028 .

This sovereign decision aims to guarantee the stability of the institution and the completion of the major structural projects launched by the current management.

An exceptional and regulated measure

Based on Articles 26, 27, 47, and 48 of its bylaws, the Fund approved this extension for all elected officials: the general management, delegates, directors, and members of the supervisory board. The assembly clarified, however, that this measure is a one-time, non-renewable decision and cannot be used as a precedent for the future.

A plebiscite based on concrete results

The retention of the management team, headed by Divisional Commissioner Major Coulibaly Aminata (wife of Koffi) , is explained by a record deemed very satisfactory by the members of the mutual insurance company:

  1. Financial recovery: More than 11 billion FCFA of debts have been cleared, thus regularizing the situation with regard to medical partners, suppliers and members.
  2. Explosion in healthcare supply: Medical services have jumped from 1,264 in 2020 to 43,864 in 2024 .
  3. Infrastructure modernization: The historic medical center has been transformed into a modern clinic, "La Prévoyance", while health coverage has been extended to retirees and declared spouses.

Innovations and large-scale projects

During this term, the FPPN has diversified its services to improve the daily lives of police officers:

  1. Economy and Credit: Creation of the “Police Attic” (social credits) and the “Police Car Fleet”.
  2. Real estate: Launch of the SCI "La Prévoyance" with large-scale housing programs in Songon, Brofodoumé and Azaguié.
  3. Direct support: More than 2.1 billion FCFA in loans granted to nearly 6,500 civil servants.
Key takeaway: The renewal process for all governing bodies must be completed by June 30, 2028. Until then, the Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the continuation of this growth momentum without any strategic disruption.
