Jacqueville : Le ministère de la Femme accélère le déploiement de sa politique genre
From June 15 to 17, 2026, the city of Jacqueville hosted a crucial workshop initiated by the Ministry of Women, Family and Children (MFFE). The objective: to fully understand the National Policy on Equality, Equity and Gender (PNEEG) in order to develop a clear roadmap for its rapid implementation.
According to an AIP press release, this strategic meeting brought together ministerial directors, gender experts, as well as several technical and financial partners.
At the opening of the proceedings, Félicité Koutouan, technical advisor and representative of Minister Nassénéba Touré, recalled the importance of this initiative:
“Promoting equality and equity between women and men is not only a social imperative. It is also a powerful lever for sustainable development, social cohesion, and good governance.”
She urged all participants to transform these reflections into concrete and measurable actions on the ground.
Kouamé Yssoufou, Director of Gender Promotion and Equity, emphasized the need to generalize this approach. He believes this workshop is an essential step towards harmonizing the understanding of the National Gender Equality Policy (PNEEG) and sustainably integrating it into all of the country's public policies, through strong consensus among all stakeholders.
For three days, the participants worked on several major themes:
Supported by technical and financial partners who reiterated their commitment to the government, participants pledged to finalize this roadmap quickly. Ultimately, this momentum should boost the impact of public policies for the benefit of women, men, young people, and the most vulnerable populations.
