PRÉSIDENTIELLE 2025 : Alassane Ouattara réélu avec 89,77 % des voix (CEI)
The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) officially announced the provisional results of the presidential election on October 26, 2025, on Monday. According to these figures, the incumbent president, Alassane Ouattara, won the election by a wide margin with 89.77% of the votes cast, giving him a fourth term as head of Côte d'Ivoire.
The national turnout was approximately 62%, according to data released by the CEI. This strong turnout, particularly in the strongholds of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP), demonstrates, according to the electoral institution, the desire of Ivorians to express themselves calmly and transparently.
The CEI president welcomed "a generally peaceful and well-organized election throughout the national territory and in the diaspora," while thanking the security forces and national and international observers for their contribution to the smooth running of the process.
The final results will be transmitted to the Constitutional Council, which will have to validate them in the coming days.
