Clôture de la 34e Semaine Nationale de la Sécurité Routière : Appel à une Vigilance Durable
The operation, which lasted seven days, concluded this Monday, marking the end of a week of concrete actions and targeted dialogue. This 34th edition of the National Road Safety Week (SNSR) took place under the banner of collective commitment and heightened vigilance on the roads.
The awareness campaign covered the entire national territory . To achieve this, large teams were mobilized, mainly composed of agents from the Ministry of Transport , the National Police and the National Gendarmerie .
Mr. Étienne Kouakou, Director of the Road Safety Office (OSER) , expressed his satisfaction with the public's involvement. He praised this active participation as a key element in the fight against road incivility, essential for significantly reducing the number of road accidents .
According to him, this edition has notably made it possible to intensify awareness efforts on crucial aspects, including the need for users to improve their visibility and to be clearly seen on public roads.
In conclusion, Minister Amadou Koné's collaborator emphasized the purpose of this enhanced community policing strategy: to ensure that all road users permanently adopt responsible behaviors.
