A 4-digit code for maximum security

To eradicate identification errors — a frequent source of incidents — the platform introduces a four-digit confirmation code system.

The principle is simple but effective:

1. Automatic receipt: As soon as the order is placed, the customer receives a unique code via the application.
2. Mutual verification: Before departure, the passenger must communicate this code verbally to the driver.
3. Trip validation: The driver enters the code into their interface to confirm that it is indeed the correct passenger and vehicle.

This measure is particularly crucial in areas with high traffic or during rush hour, where confusion between multiple vehicles is frequent.

Beyond this new code, Yango now boasts more than 25 safety-focused features , covering the entire journey:
