Sécurité routière en Côte d'Ivoire : Yango renforce son dispositif pour les fêtes
As the end-of-year festivities approach, a period traditionally marked by a surge in road accidents in Côte d'Ivoire, safety is more than ever a national priority. It is in this context that the technology company Yango organized a press luncheon on Thursday, December 18, 2025, in Cocody, to unveil its prevention strategy.
Djokoto-Ayité, head of public relations for Francophone Africa, reaffirmed the platform's commitment: "Ensuring the safety of every journey, from pickup to destination, is our top priority." To achieve this, Yango relies on a combination of advanced technologies and rigorous protocols, including tools such as the SOS button, real-time route sharing, and dedicated support.
The company also works closely with the National Police and relevant government ministries to accelerate the digitalization of urban transport while ensuring strict regulation. Finally, driver protection is not neglected: they now benefit from improved visibility into passenger profiles and specific alerts for areas or routes deemed high-risk.
