Convicted in absentia and sentenced to seven years in prison for massive embezzlement, the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SNEDAI, Hive N'da, has broken his silence. From abroad, he has officially appealed the verdict and is preparing to return to Côte d'Ivoire to face justice.

A legal battle has already begun.

The case, which concerns the issuance of checks amounting to 1.6 billion FCFA to the benefit of the shell company Porcelastone Group , takes a new turn.

1. The initial sentence: In addition to the prison sentence, the former CFO is subject to a colossal fine of 5.538 billion FCFA .
2. The defense strategy: His lawyer, Amani Kouamé, has strengthened his team with the arrival of two French lawyers.
3. The timeline: While the defense had hoped for a three-month postponement to prepare the case, the court was more insistent. The new court date is set for Wednesday, April 8, 2026 .

Despite the legal risks, Hive N'da seems determined to explain himself in person. His lawyer asserts that his client will return "no matter the cost." This initiative was viewed favorably by the Public Prosecutor's Office, which stated:

"If he comes back, it's his home. We want him to come so we can finally know what happened."
