Ivorian reggae star Alpha Blondy has officially denied being the author of a song currently circulating on social media in tribute to Toumba Diakité. In a statement published on Sunday, April 5, 2026, the artist clarified that the song is a creation of artificial intelligence .
While acknowledging the emotion this song evoked, Alpha Blondy was keen to set the record straight: "Unfortunately, I haven't written any songs in his honor.
