Bouaflé : le Rotary Club offre une nouvelle aire de jeux aux enfants de l’UFI
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the Rotary Club of Bouaflé donated a set of recreational equipment to the Integrated Training Unit (UFI) of Bouaflé, a center specializing in education and social rehabilitation placed under the supervision of the Regional Directorate of Social Protection of Marahoué.
Valued at over 1.5 million CFA francs, this equipment includes swings, a slide, a merry-go-round, a climbing frame, and sports facilities (basketball posts and a maracana). These facilities will enhance the learning and living environment for the 34 boarding students at the school for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The president of the Bouaflé Rotary Club, Dr. Kpan Françoise, explained that seeing children play, even those with disabilities, is "contemplating life in motion." She encouraged educational staff and parents to maintain these facilities, emphasizing that they were designed to bring joy and promote children's development.
For her part, Amoakon Adjo Cinthia, regional director of Social Protection of Marahoué, welcomed this gesture, emphasizing the importance of play in children's development, particularly for attention, motor skills and the acquisition of social behaviors.
Finally, Séka Lydie, Secretary General 1 of the Prefecture, thanked the initiators of the project and invited the community to continue to support the UFI, while placing these children "in prayer" for their well-being.
