Far from the lights and infrastructure of major urban centers, the village of Asproua, located in the Zuénoula department in the country's central-west, is the scene of an incredible tragedy of indifference.

This is the bitter and poignant observation that our colleague from Mediazine.ci delivered in his report entitled: "Asproua (Zuenoula department): a village without water, without electricity, without a health center or school".

In Asproua, territorial inequalities are not an economic theory, but a brutal reality experienced every day. For the inhabitants of this village, the lack of even the most basic social services is not an abstract concept, but a struggle for survival.
