Daloa : Saisie de 7 kg de Cannabis et Arrestation d'un Individu à Gbokora
As part of the national operation to combat drug trafficking, dubbed "Sparrowhawk", law enforcement carried out a successful intervention on Sunday, November 16 in the city of Daloa, more precisely in the Gbokora district.
The Regional Branch of the Directorate of Narcotics and Drug Enforcement Police (DPSD) was alerted by an anonymous tip concerning suspicious activities and comings and goings in a place identified as a "smoking room".
DPSD officers quickly arrived at the scene to verify the information and make the necessary arrests. The operation resulted in the arrest of a 44-year-old man, identified by the initials SA , who was apprehended at the scene.
The inspection of the premises led to a significant drug seizure : a total of seven (7) kilograms of cannabis had been meticulously concealed.
The arrested individual was taken into custody pending his appearance before the prosecutor. He will have to answer for his actions in court as part of the ongoing legal proceedings.
