Daloa : un réseau de plaques d’immatriculation fantaisistes démantelé
As part of the fight against road incivility, the elements of the Road Safety Platoon of Daloa , in collaboration with the Research Section , proceeded this Wednesday, January 7, 2026, to dismantle a unit manufacturing unremarkable and fanciful license plates in the Orly Mosquée district.
The operation led to the arrest of one individual and the seizure of 33 counterfeit license plates . These non-compliant plates constitute a serious offense, as they hinder vehicle identification and compromise road safety.
Authorities remind the public that the manufacture and use of fake license plates are strictly prohibited and subject to prosecution . Security forces reaffirm their commitment to combating road traffic offenses throughout the country.
