Deux présumés voleurs de pièces détachées de moto interpellés à Nanan
Elements of the 1st Arrondissement Police Station of Yamoussoukro , in collaboration with the Operational Decision Coordination Center (CCDO) , have apprehended two individuals suspected of stealing motorcycle spare parts in the Nanan district, as part of Operation Sparrowhawk .
The investigation was opened following a complaint filed by Mr. SM , a shopkeeper, who reported the disappearance of several motorcycle parts from his store. The joint investigation conducted by the Police and the CCDO led to the arrest of two suspects during the night of Monday, October 27th to Tuesday, October 28th, 2025 .
According to information gathered from police authorities, the two individuals admitted to the charges against them during their interrogation.
The suspected thieves were taken into custody pending their appearance before the prosecutor. The investigation is ongoing to identify any accomplices and recover all the stolen items.
