Dramatique sortie de route d'un car sur l'autoroute du Nord : 57 victimes recensées
The heavy toll of road accidents was once again evident this Friday, October 17, 2025. A serious traffic accident occurred in the early hours of the morning on the Autoroute du Nord, resulting in dozens of casualties.
The incident took place at kilometer point 64 (PK 64), in the Abidjan-Yamoussoukro direction. A public transport bus belonging to the SAMA company left the road for reasons that are still unclear.
The Military Fire Brigade (GSPM), quickly dispatched to the scene after the alert, reported a total of 57 victims .
Among them, emergency services counted 11 seriously injured and 44 slightly injured . It is noteworthy that two of the victims refused to be evacuated, signing waivers of liability, according to information provided by the GSPM.
