Drame sur l'axe Divo-Yokoboua : un car de transport fait une sortie de route
A particularly serious accident shook the Lôh-Guiboua region on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. A public transport bus, with a capacity of 70 seats, ended up off the road, causing numerous victims.
The accident occurred around midday, approximately 50 kilometers from Divo . For reasons still unknown, the vehicle left the road and came to an abrupt stop on the shoulder.
The region's civilian firefighters, quickly dispatched to the scene by the National Office of Civil Protection (ONPC), carried out the initial rescue operations. The provisional toll released by the authorities indicates 30 victims , distributed as follows:
The injured were evacuated to the nearest health centers to receive the necessary care.
