Frayeur à Abobo : Un python de compagnie sème la zizanie dans un car de voyage
The passengers were expecting a routine journey this Friday afternoon. They hadn't counted on the presence of a rather chilling stowaway.
It was around 4:20 PM when the new Anonkoua-Kouté train station, located in the Abobo district, descended into chaos. Piercing screams, pushing and shoving, and a scene of general pandemonium immediately drew the attention of local residents. To escape the vehicle in haste, some passengers didn't hesitate to jump out of the windows while others crowded towards the door.
The reason for this collective hysteria? A rumor that spread like wildfire: there is a snake on board .
Alerted immediately, the military firefighters from the FPT13 truck quickly deployed to the scene. The findings were conclusive: a passenger was indeed traveling with a python in his luggage.
The result: A completely frosty atmosphere on board. Categorically refusing to share their journey with the reptile, several passengers simply chose to continue their journey on foot.
Displaying remarkable composure in the face of a crowd gripped by both anxiety and curiosity, the rescuers brought the situation under control. The python was successfully captured without incident, to the amazement of the onlookers.
Once secured, the reptile was transported to the Abidjan Zoo, where it will receive care adapted to its wild nature.
This unusual incident serves as a stark reminder of a crucial rule: the transport and keeping of wild animals are subject to strict regulations. This careless act, beyond the sheer terror it caused the passengers, could have proven far more dangerous.
