Korhogo : Un gendarme tué à l’arme blanche au poste de Laléraba
On Saturday, December 27, 2025, the Laléraba post was the scene of a fatal attack. Chief Warrant Officer Kouakou Fiéni Abel, a member of the Korhogo Road Brigade, lost his life in a machete attack while on duty.
Thanks to the swift intervention of his partner, the assailant was subdued, preventing further casualties. Sadly, the injuries inflicted on the Warrant Officer proved fatal. The National Gendarmerie pays tribute to the memory of a dedicated and disciplined non-commissioned officer. Details regarding his funeral will be announced shortly.
