As the end-of-year festivities approach, here is an overview of the prices charged in Abidjan markets for consumer goods (foodstuffs, cereals and proteins).
The overall trend remains stable for most commodities. However, there is excellent news for consumers: a significant drop in the price of sweet potatoes.
| Category | Product | Price per Kilo | Market Status |
| Food producers | Sweet potato | 400 FCFA | 📉 Decreasing |
| Pkonan Yam (Ghana) | 600 FCFA | 🟢 Stable | |
| Cassava | 250 FCFA | 🟢 Stable | |
| Potato | 600 FCFA | 🟢 Stable | |
| Cereals | Mil | 500 FCFA | 🟢 Stable |
| Proteins | Boneless beef (local) | 3,000 FCFA | 🟢 Stable |
| Beef with bone (local) | 2,800 FCFA | 🟢 Stable | |
| Sosso (imported) | 2,500 FCFA | 🟢 Stable |
Note to consumers: Despite high seasonal demand, the supply of basic products such as cassava and yam allows prices to remain unchanged compared to previous days.
