Modernisation administrative : L’Unicef équipe 12 sous-préfectures du Tchologo
On Wednesday, March 18, the Tchologo region reached a key milestone in its digital transformation. As part of its support to the Ivorian administration, UNICEF officially handed over a consignment of computer equipment worth 32 million CFA francs, intended for twelve sub-prefectures in the region.

According to Jean François Basse , UNICEF Resident Representative in Côte d'Ivoire, the issue goes beyond simply providing equipment. It involves digitizing the monitoring of indicators in real time to better target social needs.
"A well-equipped administration guarantees that every borehole or health center is located where the need is most critical," he stressed, adding that this approach allows for the synchronization of interventions in health, nutrition, and education.
This funding is part of the Northeast Resilience Programme , an initiative led by UNICEF on behalf of the United Nations system. Covering the Tchologo and Bounkani regions, this programme mobilizes ten UN agencies to strengthen the state's capacity to respond to humanitarian and security shocks related to the situation in the Sahel.
The prefect of Kong, Ouattara Yacouba , expressed his gratitude, stating that these tools will allow for greater transparency and efficiency , directly benefiting citizens.
