The General Mutual Insurance Company for Civil Servants and State Employees of Côte d'Ivoire ( MUGEF-CI ) has officially entered its election period. On February 17, 2026, Koné Colette , president of the electoral committee, unveiled the detailed timeline for the renewal of the institution's governing bodies.

A strengthened territorial organization

To guarantee the transparency and accessibility of the election, 33 local electoral committees have been established. Appointed on February 16, these committees are located in the regional capitals as well as in the autonomous districts of Abidjan and Yamoussoukro.

Step 1: Electoral roll and complaints

The provisional electoral list, which includes members who are up-to-date with their contributions as of June 30, 2025, is now available for consultation.

1. Claims: From February 18 to 27, 2026.
2. Application process: Form available at www.mugef-ci.com or at physical offices.
3. Final publication date: March 4, 2026.

Step 2: Nominations and election of delegates

The election of delegates, who will constitute the General Assembly, follows a strict timetable:

Step 3: Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee

Once the delegates are elected, the process will continue towards the top of the decision-making pyramid:

1. May 11, 2026: Closing date for applications for the Board of Directors (BoD) and the Supervisory Committee.
2. May 19, 2026: Publication of the final candidate lists.
3. May 29, 2026: Holding of the Constituent General Assembly .

Important note: The Electoral Committee holds office hours from 9am to 4pm on the 3rd floor of the Adiko Niamkey building to assist members in their procedures.

This electoral process marks a major turning point for the governance of MUGEF-CI. Ivorian civil servants are called upon to demonstrate exemplary mobilization to ensure the sustainability of their social security system.
