The Ministry of Women, Family and Children has taken a major step against the exploitation of minors. Following serious abuses discovered at the "God Can Do Anything" orphanage in Agnibilékrou, the authorities have ordered the immediate cessation of its activities.
The alert was raised on March 27, 2026. The owner of the facility is accused of violating the dignity of the residents by filming them and forcing them to make public appeals for help. According to the Ministry, these acts constitute nothing less than the exploitation of children's vulnerability for the purpose of begging , coupled with a flagrant violation of their right to privacy.

Faced with the seriousness of the situation, the Minister for Women, Family and Children has taken radical decisions:
"The Ministry reaffirms its commitment to protecting vulnerable children throughout the country. No violations of fundamental rights will be tolerated."
The Ministry reminds the public that all reception centers must hold a valid license. It urges the public to be vigilant and to report any suspicious facilities or observed abuse of children to social services without delay .
