Solidarité à Yopougon : La 5ème édition de « Noël Rare » illumine le quotidien des enfants en situation de handicap sensoriel
On Tuesday, December 23, 2025, the Ivorian School for the Deaf (ECIS) in Yopougon Siporex was the scene of an exceptional outpouring of generosity. At the initiative of the NGO Miroir du Monde (MDM) , more than 60 deaf, hard-of-hearing, and visually impaired children celebrated the 5th edition of "Rare Christmas," a day dedicated to inclusion and sharing.
Concrete support for hearing. Far from being a simple gift distribution, this event, supported by ONPHA-CI and several partners (PCCI Group, RALMO, Women of Miracles), made a lasting impression with a powerful gesture: the donation of audio processors and amplifiers. This technical support aims to break the isolation of these children and bring about lasting change in their daily lives.
Combating exclusion through commitment: Abraham Kobri, president of MDM, emphasized the importance of this mobilization in the face of the lack of visibility of rare diseases with sensory manifestations: “ Disability, coupled with precariousness, requires special attention. It is at the heart of our mission. ” A sentiment shared by Professor Konan Michel (Treichville University Hospital) and private partners, all united to sustain this chain of solidarity.
Since 2019, the NGO Miroir du Monde has continued its fight for the dignity of vulnerable children, proving once again that every child, regardless of their abilities, deserves to experience the magic of Christmas.
