Succès de la "Carte Jeunes" en Côte d'Ivoire : Déjà plus de 174 000 inscrits
Four months after its official launch on December 17, 2025, the Youth Card project is showing extremely positive results. During the CICG's "All About" forum, held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Ministry of Youth Promotion expressed its satisfaction with the massive participation of young Ivorians.
Leila Dosso, representing Minister Mamadou Touré, unveiled encouraging performance indicators:
As initially announced, the completely free membership period for newcomers is coming to an end. While the first 200,000 registrants will benefit from free membership, subsequent members will have to pay a flat fee.
"An annual subscription of 2,500 FCFA will be applied to ensure the sustainability of the system," the Deputy Coordinator of the project stated.
More than just a discount card, this tool is intended as a lever for public policy. The principle is simple: each young person creates a profile detailing their skills and abilities. The government then establishes partnerships with companies, which can then draw directly from this talent pool for their recruitment needs.
The long-term ambition is to expand this network of partners to make the Youth Card the reference tool for professional integration in Ivory Coast.
