Africa Sports Abidjan is preparing to turn a new page in its history. On October 15, 2025, the Technical Electoral Commission formalized the election schedule for the new president of the Executive Board and the general controller of the "green and red" club.

Electoral calendar:

Application deadline: October 16-26. Applicants will be able to withdraw and submit their applications during this period.
Publication of the final list of candidates: October 27.
Elective general meeting (ballot): November 8, 2025.

Strict eligibility criteria:

In accordance with Articles 7.6 and 7.7 of the statutes, candidates for the presidency must meet strict conditions to guarantee the legitimacy of their approach and strengthen the governance of the club:

Be between 35 and 70 years old.
Be sponsored by at least 50 members with two years of uninterrupted seniority within the club.

These elections are taking place at a delicate time for Africa Sports, currently competing in the second division. The club sits in 12th place in Group B, with just 7 points after 8 matches played.
