BAL 2026 : La JCA Kings à l’assaut de Rabat
The JCA Kings , champions of Ivory Coast, have arrived in the Kingdom of Morocco. Starting April 24th , they will participate in the Sahara Conference of the Basketball Africa League (BAL) with a clear ambition: to establish themselves among the elite of continental basketball and secure their place in the Final 8.
Under the watchful eye of coach Stéphane Konaté and president Ismaël Cissé , the "Kings of Abidjan" have refined their strategy. With a flawless run in the qualifiers in Abidjan and impressive performances at the Elite 16 in Cabo Verde, the Ivorians approach this stage with unwavering confidence.
"The goal is not just to go far... it's to win the competition," Ismaël Cissé emphasized during his latest media appearance.
The group stage promises to be intense for JCA, who will have to face some of the continent's top teams in the space of ten days:
| Date | Opponent | Time (GMT) |
| April 24 | FUS Rabat (Morocco) | - |
| April 25 | Maktown (Nigeria) | 2:00 PM |
| April 28 | Club Africain (Tunisia) | 6:00 PM |
| May 1st | Al Ahly (Egypt) | - |

The rules for this 6th season are strict: each team plays each of the other five members of the conference once. Following these matches, the four best teams will earn their coveted spot in the Final 8 , which will take place from May 22nd to 31st, 2026 in Kigali , Rwanda.
For the Kings, the stakes are high: to confirm their status as a new powerhouse of West African basketball on the international stage.
