Bingerville : Une rue porte désormais le nom d’Evan Ndicka
The municipality of Bingerville honors one of its sporting heroes. A street in the town now bears the name of Evan Ndicka , international defender for the national football team, nicknamed “the Minister of Defense” by the Elephants' supporters.
Located at the entrance to Bingerville, on the left just after the CIE intersection , this street named Rue Evan Ndicka celebrates the exploits of a player who established himself as one of the pillars of the Ivorian defence, both nationally and internationally.
Evan Ndicka, who trained in France and now plays for AS Roma, has chosen to represent Ivory Coast on the international stage. His performances at the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations and his commitment to the Elephants have inspired many young Ivorian athletes.
Naming a street after him reflects the recognition of local authorities and the population for his exemplary career and his role in the development of Ivorian football.
With this initiative, Bingerville sends a powerful message: to value merit, hard work, and commitment. Evan Ndicka thus becomes a concrete example of success and national pride, inscribing his name in the public sphere and in the collective memory of the city.
