Mondial U20 Féminin : Les Éléphantes s'ouvrent les portes du dernier tour
The dream of playing in the World Cup is becoming clearer for the national women's under-20 team. Despite a narrow defeat (1-0) against the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) this Saturday, February 14, 2026, in Lubumbashi, Ivory Coast secured its place in the final stage of the qualifiers.
In the electric atmosphere of the Lubumbashi stadium, the Congolese women tried everything to turn the tide. They found the breakthrough immediately after the break thanks to a goal from Grâce Kalumba (49th minute).

The mission is half accomplished. Now qualified for the fourth and final round , the Ivorian players will have to fight one last battle next May.
The stakes are historic: a victory in this final two-legged tie would give Ivory Coast their ticket to the final phase of the U20 World Cup, which will take place in Poland.
