Agboville : Un bilan routier lourd en 2025 avec 29 vies fauchées
The Civil Protection Centre (CPC) of Agnéby-Tiassa has published its annual report for the 2025 financial year. The findings are alarming for the Agboville area: out of 442 traffic accidents recorded, 29 people lost their lives .
The report highlights the omnipresence of two-wheelers in these tragedies. Indeed, the majority of accidents involve motorcycles, whether they are collisions with cars (146 cases), isolated falls (67) or accidents involving pedestrians (63).
The most tragic event remains the collision on June 14, 2025 between a logging truck and a "Massa" on the Abidjan-Agboville road, which alone caused 14 deaths.
Beyond the road, civilian firefighters carried out a total of 714 interventions (fires, illnesses, assistance), bringing the overall toll to 38 deaths for the past year.
