Drame à Port-Bouët : Un mort et plusieurs blessés dans une collision frontale
The road has once again brought grief to the economic capital this Wednesday, March 18, 2026. A serious traffic accident occurred on the road leading to Grand-Bassam , involving a 70-seater transport bus and a heavy goods vehicle.
The rapid intervention of the military firefighters from the 2nd Company (Zone 4) allowed them to take care of the victims. The total number of victims is 10 .
The Military Firefighters Group (GSPM) deployed significant technical resources to extricate the bus passengers and provide emergency care. According to the National Office of Civil Protection ( ONPC ), the rescue operation required the use of several specialized vehicles.
Although the exact circumstances of the collision have not yet been determined, an investigation was immediately opened by the competent authorities to establish responsibility for this tragedy.
