FACI : Grand recrutement de militaires du rang pour 2026

The Ministry of State, Ministry of Defense, is strengthening the ranks of the Armed Forces of Côte d'Ivoire (FACI). In an official statement published on January 27, 2026 , General Lassina Doumbia announced the launch of a national recruitment campaign. This operation aims to mobilize Ivorian youth around the values of commitment and service to the nation.

📋 Eligibility criteria: Are you ready?

To apply, candidates (men and women) must meet the following conditions:

Nationality: Ivorian.
Age: Between 18 and 23 years old.
Height: Minimum 1.70 m.
Education level: Hold the CEPE and demonstrate a school level equivalent to the 4th grade (minimum).

📅 A two-step selection process

Recruitment will take place between February and March 2026 according to the following schedule:

1. The Pre-selection (from February 9 to March 8, 2026)

This mobile phase will cover ten key cities: Abidjan, Yamoussoukro, Bouaké, Korhogo, Daloa, San Pedro, Man, Guiglo, Odienné and Adzopé.

File: Submission and review of documents.
Health: Preliminary medical examination.
Tests: Dictation and logic tests.
Sport: Endurance run (8 km for men, 6 km for women), rope climbing and a minimum of 50 sit-ups.

2. The Final Selection (March 16-22, 2026)

The selected candidates will meet in Abidjan (New Akouédo camp) for:

Verification of document authenticity.
A thorough medical examination at the Abidjan Military Hospital (HMA).
Physical tests with weights and final logic tests.

📂 File contents

The following documents must be original and authenticated:

Extract from birth certificate.
Certificate of Ivorian nationality.
Extract from criminal record.
Legalized diploma or school certificate.

🚀 Next step: Training

Recruits who have successfully completed all stages will be expected on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 for the start of their initial military training.

Note: This campaign is a major opportunity for young people to join a structuring institution and to actively participate in the security of the Ivorian territory.
