The hunt for "mobile bombs" continues. The Directorate General of Mines and Geology dealt a major blow in Port-Bouët by seizing dozens of non-compliant butane gas cylinders.
Safety first. This forceful raid, which targeted both retailers and transporters, aims to clean up a sector where negligence can be fatal. The DGMG's verdict is unequivocal: any bottle whose safety inspection has expired or which shows manufacturing defects will be immediately destroyed .
"A non-compliant bottle is a danger to users," stressed the Director General, Coulibaly Seydou.
