The organization of the Armed Forces of Côte d'Ivoire (FACI) is based on a rigorous hierarchy and a clearly defined chain of command. From the Presidency of the Republic to the heads of specialized units, here is an overview of those who ensure the security of Ivorian territory.

The Executive: Senior Management

At the top of the pyramid, the President of the Republic holds the position of Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. For the implementation of national defense policy, he relies directly on the Minister of State, Minister of Defense .

The Operational Command

The conduct of operations and the administration of forces are ensured by the General Staff of the Armed Forces:
