A relaxing weekend turned tragic on the San Pedro coastline. On Saturday, April 18, 2026, a young student from Abidjan went missing after swimming at Rialto beach, ignoring the safety guidelines in place.

A security system, however, has been reinforced.

As part of routine security measures at seaside resorts, the Maritime Police deployed a significant force from April 17th to 19th. On the beaches of San Pedro and Taki:
