Abidjan, Ivory Coast – The commitment to performance and quality of service in the urban transport sector was honored at the closing ceremony of the Yango Pro Challenge on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in Abidjan.

This event helped to distinguish drivers who are partners of digital platforms, true pillars of more responsible mobility.

Launched on September 19, this initiative aimed to reward VTC (Vehicles for Transport with Driver) drivers for their regularity, the consistent quality of their service and their sustained activity on the Yango Pro application.

Recognition for Excellence

The highlight of the evening was the awarding of the Grand Prize , a new car, to Bilé Aka Jean-Baptiste , driver for partner YP Fleet Company.

"This car represents the fruit of my work and my perseverance. I thank the organizers for this recognition," he expressed, visibly moved.

A Driver of Change and Professionalization

The leaders of the promoting company emphasized the importance of these players for the future of digital transport.

1. Kadotien Soro, Country Director , praised the remarkable work of the partner drivers, calling them "true agents of change ." He reiterated the company's vision: "We believe in the power of technology to transform mobility and create sustainable opportunities."
2. Emmanuel Gwet, Operations Director of Yango Motors , explained that this challenge is a powerful symbol of solidarity and appreciation for the daily work of the drivers. He also emphasized the company's efforts to "make vehicles more accessible and adapted to local realities in order to support the professionalization of the sector."

Through this action, the organizers reaffirm their determination to support the professionalization of digital transport and to contribute to strengthening more responsible and sustainable mobility in Ivory Coast.
