Due to the advanced deterioration of the roads in Gonzagueville Terre Rouge (municipality of Port-Bouët), the Abidjan Transport Company ( SOTRA ) announced on May 28, 2026, the temporary relocation of its terminus "2 Poteaux".

Until further notice, as buses can no longer circulate safely in this area, the starting and ending point of the lines concerned is transferred to the police station of the 24th arrondissement .

🗺️ What's changing for your bus routes

To ensure continuity of service, the routes of the four main lines in the sector have been reorganized as follows:

Line 017: Departure from the 24th arrondissement police station ➡️ Direction Vridi Canal .
Line 067: Departure from the 24th arrondissement police station ➡️ Direction Treichville Market .
Line 618: Maintains its usual route to the Port-Bouët Night Market , but from the new terminus.
Line 718: Departure from the 24th arrondissement police station ➡️ Direction Adjamé Liberté .

🌧️ Safety and continuity of service in the face of rain

This decision comes as the rainy season exacerbates the deterioration of several roads in the economic capital.

SOTRA's objective: To guarantee the safety of passengers and drivers while keeping the network active.

The company invites users to adapt to these new routes while awaiting road rehabilitation and a return to normal.
