L’Église Méthodiste passe au numérique avec un recensement national dès le 4 janvier
The Methodist Church of Ivory Coast (EM-CI) is embarking on its digital transformation. Under the leadership of its new president, Bishop Séraphin Anoh Moudé , the institution will launch a large-scale census of its members across the entire national territory on January 4, 2026.
A modern strategy for optimized management. Driven by the slogan "I am a Methodist, I am registering," this three-month campaign aims to equip the EM-CI with a unified and reliable database. The objective is twofold:
A spiritual and community imperative. The launch coincides with the day of the "renewal of the covenant," a key moment in the liturgical calendar. For Bishop Anoh Moudé, this administrative act is inseparable from the spiritual commitment. He calls for total mobilization, from elders to newborns: "No one should stay home," he emphasized.
Elected in March 2025 for an eight-year term, the successor to Dr. Benjamin Boni thus places digitalisation at the heart of his governance from his first year in office.
