Secteur routier : Le groupe OBG distingue l’excellence de ses chauffeurs
The second edition of "Champions of the Road" took place on Saturday, December 27, 2025, in Plateau. Initiated by Okoué Building Group (OBG), this event recognized 18 key players in the transport and construction sectors, marking a decisive step in the professionalization of the industry.
Held under the theme "Road to Ivory Coast: The OBG Adventure," this ceremony was not intended to be merely festive. For Fabrice Okoué, CEO of the group, it was a mission of recognition: "We want to honor these men and women who crisscross the country, often in difficult conditions, to keep our construction sites running," he declared.
A meteoric rise. What began as a small internal celebration in 2023 has, in just two years, become a structured platform. Today, the OBG group boasts impressive figures: a fleet of 100 trucks and over 500,000 tons of materials transported.
Looking ahead to 2026: Beyond recognition, the group is focusing on safety. In the presence of financial and institutional partners, management announced the strengthening of training and prevention programs for the coming year, with a clear ambition: to make Ivorian roads safer and more professional.
