The socio-educational and administrative landscape of Kagbolodougou (northern Côte d'Ivoire) is undergoing a transformation. This Saturday, May 23, 2026, the Minister of State, Minister of Defense, Téné Birahima Ouattara, presided over the inauguration of several major infrastructure projects. The event took place as part of a ceremony honoring the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara.

The package of infrastructure projects inaugurated

This official visit enabled the locality to be equipped with top-of-the-line facilities to modernize the daily lives of the population:

1. Education and Gender: A Women's Training and Education Institution (IFEF) and a brand new modern high school.
2. Early childhood: An Early Childhood Protection Centre (CPPE).
3. Administration: The premises of the new sub-prefecture.

A tribute to the Head of State's development vision

In his capacity as patron of the ceremony, Téné Birahima Ouattara warmly praised the loyalty of the inhabitants of Kagbolodougou towards the President of the Republic.

"The sons and daughters of this locality have always distinguished themselves by their attachment to President Alassane Ouattara and his vision of development," he affirmed before an audience of administrative, customary and religious authorities.

The Minister of Defence took the opportunity to commend the leadership of the region's executives, particularly mentioning Minister Fidèle Sarassoro and Gilbert Kafana Koné for their active contribution to local development.

Reduce regional disparities

For the government, the transformation of Kagbolodougou (access to drinking water, establishment as a sub-prefecture, schools and health centers) illustrates a firm commitment to correcting regional imbalances and sustainably improving the living conditions of Ivorians.

Before concluding his remarks, the Minister of State made a passionate appeal for the preservation of peace and social cohesion, describing them as essential pillars for any sustainable development.
