Présidentielle 2025 : les candidats ont jusqu’au 3 novembre pour déposer leurs réclamations

The process of the presidential election of October 25, 2025, is entering a decisive phase. The Constitutional Council of Côte d'Ivoire has announced the opening of the electoral dispute process.

In accordance with the provisions, candidates in this election have a period of five days , i.e. until Monday, November 3, 2025 at 8 p.m. , to file their complaints or observations relating to the provisional results proclaimed by the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) on October 27.

Claims must be submitted in ten original copies to the General Secretariat of the Constitutional Council, located at 22 Boulevard Carde, Abidjan-Plateau. After this deadline, no further claims will be accepted.

Under Article 60 of the Electoral Code, only candidates for the election are entitled to make these complaints.

This step marks a key phase in the democratic process in Côte d'Ivoire. After this period of legal challenges, the Constitutional Council will announce the final results of the presidential election.

For political actors, candidates, and their campaign teams, this is a strategic moment: all submissions, observations, and challenges must be made in strict compliance with formalities and deadlines. For civil society and observers, it is a test of the election's transparency and credibility.
