Côte d’Ivoire : près de 5 000 jeunes livreurs déjà enrôlés sur la plateforme POLI
The professionalization of young delivery drivers has reached a milestone in Ivory Coast. To date, nearly 5,000 drivers have already registered on POLI , the operational platform for smart delivery , accessible via www.poli.ci.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 by Isaac Gnamba-Yao , Director General of La Poste Côte d'Ivoire , during the government forum "All You Need to Know About" organized by the Government Information and Communication Center .
According to the executive, the goal is not to replace independent delivery drivers, but to structure a more visible, safer, and fairer ecosystem . La Poste intends to offer collaborative models that integrate these players into an expanded logistics chain, providing training, social protection, traceability, and professional recognition .
Within this framework, the project aims to support and train up to 140,000 delivery drivers , particularly through access to the A license , in order to improve the quality and safety of delivery services. E-commerce players are also called upon to play a central role, relying on certified and specialized delivery drivers .
Monitoring mechanisms are already in place to ensure responsible and transparent management of the system. Through POLI, La Poste Côte d'Ivoire aims to modernize last-mile delivery while preserving employment and entrepreneurial initiative .
