Énergie : Quatre Centrales Solaires d'une Capacité Totale de 210,3 MWc Prévues
The Council of Ministers recently adopted four crucial decrees aimed at developing the solar energy sector in the country. These texts concern the financing, construction, operation, maintenance, and full ownership of four new solar power plants whose total capacity will reach 210.3 megawatts-peak (MWp) .
These facilities will be distributed across three regions of the country: Bafing , Gontougo and Poro .

According to government spokesman Amadou Coulibaly, these agreements are part of the national policy aimed at promoting the participation of private operators in the development of the electricity sector.
These Independent Power Generation Projects (IPPs) are essential to meet the growing demand for electricity and to realize Ivory Coast's ambition to become a regional energy hub .
The Minister reaffirmed the country's commitment to the energy mix , stressing the need to diversify electricity production sources , particularly through renewable energies.
