During a high-level visit to Abidjan on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, the international NGO Save the Children praised the effectiveness of the Ivorian governance system, describing it as an "inspiring reference" for the international community.

Leadership praised at the summit

Ms. Gabriella Waaijman, Global Director of Operations for Save the Children International, led a delegation to the National Oversight Committee (CNS) . Received at the office of the First Lady, Ms. Dominique Ouattara, she expressed her admiration for the institutional framework established by Côte d'Ivoire.

“The Ivorian experience is a benchmark. This coherent framework, supported by strong leadership, deserves to be studied and adapted in other countries facing this issue,” said Ms. Waaijman.
