Dabou : Collision Fatale entre Deux Camions, Deux Victimes à Déplorer
A tragic traffic accident occurred on Monday, November 10, 2025, on the Dabou-Grand-Lahou road, near the village of Ira, located approximately 35 kilometers from Dabou. The collision between two trucks resulted in the deaths of two people and left one seriously injured.
According to the report from the National Office of Civil Protection (ONPC), the accident was caused by a violent collision between two trucks.
The incident occurred near a bridge. A 10-ton truck, apparently broken down, was stopped in the roadway. The second truck, which was moving, reportedly struck the parked vehicle, likely not seeing or being unable to avoid the obstacle.
The force of the impact propelled one of the trucks into the stream adjacent to the village of Ira.
The toll from this road accident is heavy: two people have died.
The driver of the submerged truck, whose cab ended up in the river, was seriously injured . Fortunately, he was pulled from his predicament by villagers before being taken to the hospital by emergency services.
